When it comes to maternity sessions, there’s an undeniable charm in involving older siblings. They bring an extra dose of excitement, silliness, and genuine joy to the photoshoot. With their infectious enthusiasm and sweet gestures, including older siblings in a maternity session transforms it into a fun-filled adventure filled with laughter, playfulness, and love. It is so special capturing the joy of the entire family: glowing parents witnessing their little ones become big brothers or sisters, and older siblings full of excitement at welcoming a new baby to the family.

This sweet crew was such a pleasure to photograph! The love they have for each other, and their excitement for the new baby, was palpable the entirety of our session together. Big sister and brother were full of giggles, smiles and kisses for mamas bump! The entire time we had together was so much fun. The photos completely capture their incredible energy and genuine joy at the arrival of a new little one.

Big brother and sister were very excited to help Mum and Dad with the announcement of their new sibling’s arrival! Witnessing their anticipation was so special and provided some of my favourite photos of the evening. Just look at those expressions!
